Launch Safe provides a cloud-based compliance management platform for property portfolios. In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" refer to Launch Safe. We act as a data controller for account information and as a data processor for the compliance data uploaded by our customer organisations.

We collect information you provide directly, including your name, work email address, organisation and any content you upload such as inspection notes, photos, documents and building records. We also collect basic technical information — such as browser type, device information and IP address — needed to operate the service securely.
3. How we use your information
We use your information to provide and improve the platform, authenticate users, generate reports and AI-assisted outputs, respond to support requests, and communicate about service updates. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for third-party marketing.
4. Legal basis for processing
We rely on the performance of our contract with your organisation to provide the service, and on our legitimate interests to secure the platform and prevent misuse. Where required by law, we rely on your consent — for example for optional communications — which you can withdraw at any time.
5. Data storage and security
Data is stored securely within our cloud infrastructure with encryption in transit. Access to production systems is restricted to authorised personnel. We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
6. Sharing with third parties
We share information only with the service providers required to run Launch Safe — such as our hosting, database, email and AI processing providers — under contracts that require them to protect your data. We may disclose information where required by law or to protect the rights, safety or property of Launch Safe or its users.
7. Data retention
We retain account and compliance data for as long as your organisation maintains an active subscription, plus a reasonable period afterwards to meet legal, audit and backup requirements. On request, we will delete or return data in line with our agreement with your organisation.
8. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict processing of your personal data, to object to processing and to request data portability. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below or speak to your organisation's administrator.
9. Cookies
We use a small number of essential cookies to keep you signed in and to keep the service secure. We do not use advertising cookies or sell browsing data.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our service or legal obligations. We will notify active users of material changes by email or in-app notice.
